I. What is a Piezoelectric Injector?
In simple terms, a piezoelectric injector is an injector nozzle that replaces the traditional solenoid valve with piezoelectric ceramics. Similar to the piezoelectric ignition device in a lighter, it can respond instantly when powered on, operating 10 times faster than old - style injector nozzles. It can precisely control the amount of fuel injection to the milligram level, which is like performing "minimally invasive surgery" on the engine.
II. Three Significant Advantages
  • Substantial 15% reduction in fuel consumption: Through actual measurement, it can save 3 - 5 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. Based on the current fuel price of 8 yuan per liter, it can save 24,000 yuan over a distance of 100,000 kilometers.
  • More responsive power: The fuel injection response is accelerated by 0.1 milliseconds. When climbing slopes, the throttle responds promptly, making overtaking effortless.
  • Significant reduction in maintenance costs: Carbon deposition is reduced by 80%, the service life of the injector nozzle is extended threefold, and the vehicle can easily pass the exhaust emission inspection during annual checks.
III. Precautions for Use
  • Always use National VI diesel fuel to prevent impurities from clogging the precision injection holes;
  • Shorten the maintenance cycle to 15,000 kilometers, but the cost of each maintenance can be reduced by 200 yuan;
  • Before starting the vehicle in winter, power it on for an additional 3 seconds to ensure that the fuel pump builds up pressure.
IV. Modification Recommendations
For new vehicle purchases, direct installation is recommended; for modifying old vehicles, caution is advised:
Vehicles that meet National V emission standards and are less than 3 years old can be modified, with a payback period of approximately 8 months.
Vehicles over 5 years old are not recommended for modification, as there may be electrical circuit incompatibility issues.
